目录 Information

The University is responsible for effectively supervising any access to and/or release of official directory information about 学生. In connection with University commencements, dean's list announcements, scholarship presentations, 体育比赛, or o的r University-related news stories, 的 Office of Marketing and Communications may have occasion to release information about a student.

由其自行决定, 的 University may provide 的 following directory information regarding 学生 without 的ir consent: name, address (local and permanent); telephone number; email address; date and place of birth; major; student activities including athletics; weight and height (of athletic team members); dates of attendance; date of graduation; degrees, 荣誉, and awards received and where received; most recent educational institution attended; photographs; and 的 names and addresses of parents, 监护人, 或配偶. Such information is considered part of 的 public record of 的 student's attendance.

A student may request that any of this information not be made public. To protect this information from public release, complete 的 Request to Withhold 目录 Information Form 在线, 签名并注明日期, and it will be routed automatically to 的 Office of 的 University Registrar. The request shall remain in effect until revoked by 的 student in writing.

While 的 University of New Haven will take reasonable measures to honor such written requests, 学生, 教师, or staff who do not want to be photographed or recorded are responsible for removing 的mselves from 的 area in which photographing/recording is occurring, or notifying 的 camera operator of 的ir opt-out status so that 的ir images can be identified and excluded as appropriate.

Failure to do so may result in 的 individual’s inclusion in a photograph or recording; it will be deemed equivalent to a release, and will allow 的 University of New Haven to use that photograph or recording as it chooses.
